Agriculture in the Classroom

Meredith Clymer is a former elementary and middle school teacher who currently spends her days sharing STEM-based agriculture lessons with over 3,100 elementary students in seven counties.

Meredith has an enthusiasm for all things space and STEM. As a classroom teacher in both Omaha and Grand Island, she shared her passion with 5th and 6th grade classes, and she continues to hold workshops for local students and teachers, as well as incorporating NASA’s agriculture research in space into her daily lessons. Meredith has been a NASA Nebraska Space Ambassador since 2013, and has attended various yearly trainings to bring back her excitement for space education with pre-service and in-service teachers, and students across central Nebraska and Northwest Iowa.

While Meredith and her husband, Kyle, now live in Sioux Center, Iowa, she is still able to serve Northeast Nebraska and surrounding areas.
