Judy Stucky is a physics instructor at Westside High School with over 25 years of experience. She spends her days teaching STEM, General Physics and AP Physics C while leading the physics team at the school . She has also taught Chemistry and AP Physics 1. She is the co-sponsor of the schools science club which includes coaching Science Olympiad.
Judy is passionate about all things physics and sharing her love of physics with others. Her love of science was inspired by her father who included her in all his hobbies including building a Heath-kit TV, model trains, Amateur Radio, and remote control gliders. Judy is a lifelong learner and seeks out all forms of Professional Development including the Honeywell Space Camp for Educators, Siemens Teachers as Researchers Program at Oakridge National Lab, American Modeling Teachers Association workshops, and more. In addition to being a Nebraska Space Ambassador, Judy is also a Space Foundation Teacher Liaison.
She enjoys bringing her expertise as an Ambassador to the Westside Community, NATS, the UNL Astronomy Day for teachers, and SPACE. Judy has been at Westside High school since 2005 and is married and has two cats.
